Warning buzzers too quiet

Why? In daylight it's not at all obvious on many cars.

Not driven one with them yet. Only ever seen them on a handful of rigids.

Yup. Alot of places I go to, I literally have a couple of inches spare at best when manouvering. Reversing only an inch away from an object at many points during the manouvre is pretty common in lorry driving and alot of the time, you have to have good spatial awareness as you can't see the obstruction.

On part of the test before you even get out onto the road, you have to reverse into a box. At the back of this box is a hatched area. You have to place the rear bumper in the middle of this hatched area otherwise you fail the manouvre.

If you can't reverse in this job, you're stuffed.

Found a nasty gotcha the other day. The headlight warning does not go off if you exit through the passenger door.

I was measuring battery voltage at idle, with and without the headlights on. When I came back (next day) the battery was at 23mv. After charging, it's worked ok.

How does the sun affect the light switch?

So you've not yet forgotten to switch off your lights? Has your vehicle got a lights on warning?

No and yes.

How do you know it's got a lights on warning, then? ;-)

I took the keys out of the ignition, opened the door stepped out, locked the car put my letter in the post box unlocked the car got into it, restarted the engine and continued on my way.
