What is a good sparkplug for a 2003 Ford KA?

Any experts recommend which plugs are best for a 2003 Ford KA 1.3. I think it's the Duratec engine. Only done 20k miles but the owners not sure if plugs have ever been replaced (certainly not in the last 3 years anyway). It's got a bit of a misfire under load so will start with the basics of changing plugs & filters but given what I've read about the common problem of them seizing and a right bastard to remove without snapping I'm leaving it to my mechanic friend when it goes for MoT. I said I'll supply the plugs & just wondered if there's any particular make recommended for these motors? cheers.

Why not get genuine ones from a dealer? There isn't a great variation in prices on basic service items for Ford, and sometimes on things like filters and wiper blades, the dealer price is less that places like Halfords. You will also know you have the right bits.

Not worth it just for a set of plugs may be, but I've ordered online from here:

and been happy with the service and price. Usually up to a 25% discount on retail price, and delivery in 3 business days. (Usual disclaimer.)

From what I read on here they can easily seize some some specific grease might be a good idea as the alternative opens a world of pain, again purely from what I read. But I thought useful to pass on.

That's if you leave them in for years & years. AH 2003....
