Need to buy a 3/4 socket but store only has metric, im guessing 19 or 20mm
Anyone know for sure ? cheers

Indeed. Proper tool for the job. Even Halfords sell imperial sockets and spanners.
19mm is as near 3/4" as makes absolutely no difference at all. Same with 11mm and 7/16", or 15mm and 19/32".
