The cambelt and tensioner on the ZX needs doing, and I can't get hold of my mechanic. How much of a PITA is the job? I can see access would be tight...

If it's anything like the BX, it's bit of a pain, but not impossible. I'd do it, and I'm definitely not one to be doing really nasty jobs these days. Tricks may include leaning the engine to get a bit more clearance.
Oh yes - fit a new crank pulley bolt. The non-turbos might not suffer from this, but a mate's gave up in a very expensive fashion, so if you're there anyway it's worth replacing.
cheers, clive
Access is tight but not impossible. The only pain is keeping the tensioner tensioned when it goes back, bent bits of metal are the order of the day.

If its like a 309 or 405 1.9D you dont need to undo the crank pulley bolt.
