Well I finally got to drive an M2, a very nice 10AE actually. It's pretty! Interior and exterior definitely more modern looking than my ol 92 Black and Tan. A few thoughts / observations;
- Seats suck compared to mine (they are politically correct I guess, as in not too small for ANYBODY) . Some have mentioned taking out foam to increase headroom, does this help a person begin to fit down into these seats or would you have to take all the foam out to get there? This is a big issue for me.
- 1.6 vs 1.8 would need more time to explore, didn't seem like much of a factor.
-Seats, seats, seats man, is there a way to make these seats 'fit' ?
I'm previewing the car for my son (22) and I came away feeling really good about how well my old 92 is holding up as it approaches 120k. This 10AE had
78k.
