Much closer to 50 pounds than 150. I can take mine on and off by myself and I'm not Hulk Hogan or anything. It's easy to lift, but hard to get hold of by one's self. You and your wife should have no problem removing it together. Unlatch all the latches, disconnect the defroster harness and tape it up out of harms way, give the top a shove rearward on each side to slide the it back about 2 inches and free it from the Frankenstein bolts, then lift it off. Have fun topless. :)
