I'm having trouble getting the oil cap off my sisters SEL to add oil. Is there a secret way to do.

No, just turn it counter-clockwise. If this doesn't work, are you sure it is the oil cap?

yes. it's just as tight as they come with metal tabs on the bottom to keep it from vibrating off. i guess i need to start pumping iron.
