Starting problem

forgot to say, my car is not an immitation, it is not piggybacking of another models success

over , but it is not siezed. When >key is turned, a clicking noise is heard. i suspect the solenoid is faulty.

Didn't know they made the New MINI in 1981 ;o)

The new, and improved, Mini may have started off 'piggybacking" but, has far surpassed the old mini in popularity and performance. As far as your original question, you might try alt.autos.mini....The guys in that group are sooo knowledgeable and kind {cough cough}. Plus this is really a non-existent news group. We have all gone over to the dark side.
