Re: Life On Mars? And Glam Rock Legend/Mini Owner Marc Bolan!

Yeah it's also a sad fact that only the original drummer is still alive today, the guitarist Steve Currie was also killed in a car accident abroad, bongo player Mickey Finn (the bloke with the long hair with Bolan above) died recently of kidney/liver problems, even Steve Took the bloke with Bolan on the 1960's Unicorn cover when they were originally known as Tyrannosaurus Rex but left in 1969 died from a drug overdose. But Bolan died very young, he was barely 30, ok the T-Rex Glam Rock fame days had ended by 1977, but he had his own TV show where he'd sing with famous people and introduce new acts (even if a lot of it was rubbish Punk stuff then) and one of his last performances was with David Bowie. If he'd lived, like Bowie he'd have made many come backs by now I should imagine.
