Quickly converting the Sud to RWD might help....

If you found a practical way of fitting the gearbox upside down, you'd have 4 reverse ratios and could probably go drifting backwards.

I think You'd get a helluva crick in the neck though.

How I rewheel? Cost lots money?

How long take? Weekend is competition, I no win, I no cash - You help me rewheel?

Yes you need a lot of money to win anything in motorsport.

Not necessarily, but if you do win anything on a budget, you'll not likely get anything except a trophy :)

When you look at the cost of just getting a Nat B licence then add in a car (Formula Vee will cost a minimum of £4500 2nd hand an engine rebuild by AHS or Bowles will be another couple of grand and Vee is considered a cheap way into motor sport and that's without the cost of entering an event) I know a Global GT Light with a solid backup crew with next years drive up fro grabs for about £35k

Nat B licence £30 Cheap car to use £300 Entry £30 (including full english at the end) Insurance £20 Total price (with car left at end hopefully) £380 Smiles per mile - priceless :)

I think you missed a digit out there: MSA Go racing pack £46 includes licence application ARDS test is going to be a minimum of £270 (cheapest I have found is Mallory park)

Well the licence with my photo on that is sat in front of me seems to suggest otherwise! I suspect you dont realise there is more than one type of National B licence. Although you have to do an ARDS, ARKS or BARS course for a full licence (depending on if you want a Race, Kart of Rally licence), you do not need to for a non-race licence which lets you compete in hundred of events up and down the country (road rallies, navigational rallies, trials and autotests).

Sprints, Hillclimbs as well.

That's the one I have. Don't get me wrong, I'm well slow - but I do have a go :-)

My mistake I thought we were talking about motorsport not a weekend hobby for blokes with beards and a very rare ford consul as only 3 were made in this colour in that year. ;)

Michael, we've talked about this, you have to let go.

You have to let Ralf have his chance at personal victory.

It was the same thing with Rubens, but he worked for you, and you didn't learn from that, did you...
