anyone know how easy it is to fit a 3.5 v8 from 5 series into a 3 series?

Check out the back issues of CCC, it's been done before.
A bloke on Pistonheads had a 340 not so long ago, that had the motor from a
540 fitted.I encountered him because he agreed to buy my E30. Unfortunately he changed his mind and didn't bother to tell me :-(
