Ford 1.6 Zetec-S (Yamaha one) engine potential

Great. That doesn't tell me anything though, nor you.

Maybe not. Point is you don't know.

You merely said, "it pumped me silly," which doesn't tell me if it's through a series of roundabouts or what.

So what you're saying is that I know as much about the Coarsa's engine as you do the Fiesta Zetec-S, then?

Hence why this post is enquring about their potential, since I've not had any experience of a 'tuned' one.

It's a Corsa. I wouldn't dare take on anything with more than one wheel in a bend with it.

This particular one, no. The Zetec-S engine in general? Probably the same, if not more than yourself.

Why not have a look at

and look around for the Zetec info as they give info about Zetec tuning parts, at least in their printed catalogue. IIRC the smaller series has few tuning parts available whereas the larger series has a great many tuning parts, that being from reading the Burton catalogue a mate has.

Caterham use the sigma engine in their cars, and their engine manufacturer can get 240 horses out of one. Their website unfortunately doesn't tell you how.

Slip of the finger. 140 horses.
