Gratuitous car selling spam (again)

Roll up, roll up all you car buying people..

Todays marvellous bargain automobile is my lovely Golf Clipper cabriolet

1989 (I think), F reg, 115k miles, black with black hood,

very clean inside and out (although it needs a repair to the o/s/r corner of the bumper - I've been quoted £80 to sort it),

12 months MOT, taxed until the end of october '05,

grey trim (without usual "knackered drivers seat bolsters"),

Pioneer amp in boot - which is rather good,

Kenwood 6x9s, which are also rather good,

remote c/l alarm (but the siren is knackered),

Lowered at rear, was lowered all round, but one front spring was very weak indeed [1]

Borbet "C" wheels, or bloody good copies, not checked

Nikki twin choke carb - which is better than a Pierburg at least.

New fuel pump, fan belt, and a couple of other gubbins

Pretty full service history

£1495 o.n.o - bloody things are in the trader, scruffier and with less MOT / TAX for £2500...

E-mither me at pete (dot) murray (at) blueyonder (dot) co (dot) uk.

Hello,

You nee to get yourself over to barryboys.co.uk ! It sounds like the ideal car if you have any pictures! It will never sell unless it has a cheap £50 neon light set from Maplin and a gigantic ironing board strapped to the boot.

Is there any end to your wit?

I think so, and it looks like it occurred several years ago.

Thanks for your informative and excellently helpful post.

You appear to know as much about my taste in cars as the inner gizzards of a half dead rat would.

"Cheap £50" is an oxymoron where I come from. You could buy two Nova's for that!
