I've heard that from others. But I've also heard, "you won't get insurance with out it" as much.

Knowing my luck, you can guess which way it would go. Probably be easier to insure a rotten old pear with the certificate, than a minter without. I have that kind of luck.

Once I had tweaked the suspension and brakes, that old Celica GT4 drove=20 like a Gokart and was far beyond my meagre capabilities.

I didn't know it until I bought the Saab convertible that was as=20 powerful, had new shocks and springs the same, but rolled like a boat in=20 the harbour. But the Celica seemed so "flat", you didn't realise that it=20 was quite a competant performer.=20

I would have actually been better off then to buy an import low mileage=20 engine and still enjoy it, instead of flogging it at a loss like I did,=20 then losing on the rougher than I thought convertible.

I would have another Jap car again, but I wouldn't expect it to be=20 interesting or exciting in the kind of driving we can do on the road, it=20 would be boring, competantly reliably accuratley boring, but still=20 boring. I actually enjoyed the Favorit good shocks but crap tyres more,=20 because even though it would understeer and wheelsping it's 56bhp on=20 roundabouts, you knew how it would go and always when, so you could=20 power slide yourself out on the throttle (yes front wheels sliding).
