Just been chatting to Tim, and reckon we should have a mods meet somewhere this summer.
I've volunteered my place to meet - BBQ and beers on Sat. night followed by some mountain road blatting on the Sunday.
Fair bit of space to crash here - just bring beer and a sleeping bag.

yeah im up for it, you know I am only over the bridge any way, Jack I got a set of MassItay's 5 spokes in 18" that need refurbing and have 2 good tyres, but there 15" to fit the audi, I dont know what your PCD is etc.

Well... I should, as of Tuesday, be the 'proud' owner of a Renault Safrane
2.2Vi Executive... fortunately it's not saddled with the 'pot luck' auto gearbox, so even if the electrics don't, the rest of the car should be fit enough to make the trek to Wales... so if I stick with that for a while, I'll see your french shitbox, and raise you an even more undesirable one. ;-)-- JackH

I like it... *shrug* - my mechanic has had it yonks, and it's been pretty reliable for him.
It's like a sofa on wheels... and will probably turn out to be as immobile as one, given a reasonable amount of time, but given the cost, I don't give a s*it if it dies spectacularly, really... ;-)

Yes... but I'll have them anyway - might end up with something VAG again soon, so by that time I'll have had them all refurbed and looking lovely.
