Yes it was main dealer, but he could have gotten an indy to do it, after he had found a US specialist to get him the parts. Last quote he got including shipping was £600, plus what ever an indy would charge to fit it, plus what ever damage occured while getting it there, because one lifter gone, and the car was making horrible noises by all accounts (and he did a lot of work on stuff himself, so he wasn't completley clueless). Didn't want to tow it as it was an auto.
Its the engine from one of those I want to mid mount in a Micra :)
Silly power, but surely silly plan :)
Just imagine how it would go!!!! I have a Micra I'm going to use whilst my March is off the road, who knows what will happen to it after ;)
