thats been all over the forums lately.

my opinion - fake.

Too much gore for one small deer, too many *bits* in the car when the deer seems to be pretty complete, not mark/outline of the driver on the seat etc etc

Definately. That deer would have done a bit of front end damage and maybe smashed the windscreen if it had come over the bonnet. Which is unlikely looking at the size of the car unless it happened to jump.

Also how exactly did bits end up in the boot?

it's really obviously a fake.

Supposedly hit by a "minivan" first, and flipped into the air into the path of the Trailblazer.

I would say this :)

A guy was driving along minding his own business when a deer ran out in front of him, he whacked the deer and as the impact happened he let go of the "big Gulp" size raspberry slush puppy he was holding, covering the car :)

I recken its real, look at the pillar on the rear seat you can see deer has hit that at some speed and a deer will carry at least 3 pints of blood, when the internal organs are ripped out at the right time this is what happens.

If it is a fake its the best fake ever, even the moon landing looked faker.

The picture must have been taken at the scene as the wiper is in the same postion as the outside pic, there is a copper there with his lights going, and you can see blood on the side strip running along the outside of the car.

I would say all the internal organs went straight inside, and emptied there contents all over the car.

Open tonneau cover would reasonably expain it.

It wouldn't explain why there are splatter marks on the back bumper tho...

Well living in the New Forest i see a fair few animal accidents and have never seen/heard of anything like that! Years ago when i breifly owned a Golf GiT someone borrowed it and hit a deer at about 60mph. All that happened was a broken bumper, grill and lights, no where near as sever as that photo!

Depends on the size of Deer.

Ever seen what an elk/moose/large deer can do.

Yeah but that deer wasnt very big!

Nope. Do they do a little song and dance? Seriously though, seen horses, badgers (suprisngly hard little creatures), foxes, various sized deer and other smaller, less significant animals. Never anything that spectacular.

The dear in question is rather small though.
