You get what you pay for. Assuming it is actually good, then I'm happy to pay the extra :)

Sounds pretty good to me, I think we may have a winner! :)

Really? Looking on there I can't see anything remarkable. Their customer satisfaction scores are only 'average', but other than that they look fine, and they are quite cheap. How often do you need to call customer services? I never have.
Seconded !
You get what you pay for ! A cheap ISP is not a good thing !
Cheap != Value.
AVOID Tiscali.
It doesn't matter what they charge - if they're shit, then you're paying for shit !
Very sound advise that.
I'm happy with Fast4 but they only offer a simple uncapped 512k connection for =A316.99 per month. That's your only choice.
My previous point that someone picked up on about the helpline, I brought up the helpline issue because in the past I've seen ISPs dismissed out of hand based on the premium rate helpline issue. Fast4 do have a premium rate phoneline but I've never had to use it - their online support ticketing system works really well and I just use that if there's anything I need.
Errrr why not. I cant think of plenty of times were cheap = value and expensive!=quality. Theres no way I'm gonna be paying out £30 a month for broadband, although I probably will avoid Tiscali and use that site as it seems quite informative
Because you get what you pay for. Throughout my years of life, I've found that to be usually true !
Me too. But I can think of 100 times more, where more expensive = better :)
If you wanted 1MB, uncapped, with a fixed-IP and a good ISP, then you wouldn't have much choice :)
Used NTL's 1.5mb cable service for well over a year, never once had a problem, and it was way faster than my mates 1mb ADSL service, and cheaper, and included a phone :)
But i dont, so I wont be paying it :)
2MB for £14.99, if you're a heavy P2P user you can get a large fair usage limit for only £21.99.
