Ot : Car Modifications

Mar 18, 2008 3 Replies

This week I have been mostly scraping the crud off my car's chassis in readiness for picking up the new engine. Thanks to his Dougness, I managed to get the new engine home tonight. Cheers Douglas. Anyway, hoiked it into the shed, and positioned it above its new home and - it probably won't fit without modification. There are two chassis members which are in the way and need to be removed and new ones put in to replace those, so I think it's time to get the angry grinder out. It's all good fun, but the main thing is that it's all going in the right direction.

Pics of the ugliness to follow soon :-)

What into what?

Mind over metal. Been there. Always sounds scarier than it is tho.

It was a pleasure, and I rather enjoyed the tea at Jock's place.

Gas axe! (c:

I enjoyed the jaunt. I slept well last night.

I'll bring my jazzy camera next time.

Bob Sherunckle has a ZX10 motor he's planning to put into a Sylva Leader.

Heh, I'm sure it'll be fine.
