OT: Think I have me a new Job.

Nah mate, people who have been there 6 months to 4 years, and earning enough to go out and buy brand new boxsters and Saab convertibles are staying, even though the sales team of their division is performing so they have nothing to do. But us guys who have consistently been refused pay rises or had the requests ignored got pushed.

But out of the old internal development team, people with 8, 5 and 3 years experience have gone, while people with 6, 6, and 3 years have stayed. Other people working on client projects haven't been there a year yet and weren't even shortlisted for the boot.

Thing is, there is the old NetCreative dialup/adsl/web developlemt programming team. And now there is the new Voice4IP managed VOIP programming team. ADSL isn't as profitable as it was, dialup died, so those working on internal projects were for the chop. The two guys working on client stuff. The 3 large client web projects are still profitable and self funding so the 3 guys working on them were safe.

Thing is, there has been a slow take up of managed VOIP sales, but their sales team weren't affected, nor were their developers.

but the security/connectivety/design/hosting sales team lost both sales directors, and the sales manager. and 4 sales people out of 6.

Buying Telefonica UK gave them their expected loss, and not performing on the VOIP stuff gave them additional losses, but the 3 people from Telefonica who stayed on are still working. Accounts who were supposed to control invoices and debt didn't lose anyone.

The list read something like 80% of the original 20 people who were there or started arround the same time as me 5 years ago. All those who survived with out question had only been there 6 months to a year.
