Yep, certainly does look like one. I thought your 8v being an SE would have the intercooler anyway? there are two types of Saab 900 Intercooler, earlier ones had alloy end tanks, later ones had plastic. I understand that there are good and bad points for both, just can't remember them.

Yes it does. Thought I read somewhere that the T16 one was larger though? Want the pipes from the T16 that come with it for the DV really.

Early all ally intercooler had better heat sink properties but the later plastic end tanked version flowed better (more important IMHO) the even later T16 (1992 - 1993) ic had even better flow capacity at the expense of cooling. T8 should have the same cooler as early T16's and very similar pipe work.
