they used a different block for the galaxy fitment meaning that even though they are exactly the same engines, one will fit fwd and one will fit rwd only

but which cosworth lump they did a V1 all the way through to a V7 as long as they get the chain tensioners replaced every 50k or so they don't go wrong and if they do, you can't buy any replacement parts from ford anymore

V7 then :) with the modified chaiin guides made of bilet not cast and the better chain tensioners :) and even with the slightly lower geared oil pump to prevent the tensioners wearing the guides out prematurely :)
