Bollocks, you need leaf springs if you want to get the power onto the road. It's only if you want to go round a corner that they get to be a problem.

Double bollocks. If you really want to put the power down you want a four link rear end. And who doesn't want to go around corners? Besides Americans.

Well they do me just fine and with some new dampers I'll hopefully be going round corners better too! I've seen someone creat a 5-link setup on the back of a 340, buts thats a bit beyond my engineering capabilities.
