Does anyone know where i can get a high lift/performance camshaft for my L reg Metro Si 1400 8-Valve Single Point Injection.

From t'other postings, it seems that you're not sure what, entirely, you really want.
What are you trying to achieve from the 1.4 litre donk?
You might find a modified car costs even more.
You're paying 2 grand to insure a metro? And not even a fast metro?
The mind boggles....
It'll be even more when you've modded the current engine !
What on earth are you doing ?
Two grand a year, to run a METRO ?
Sell it, and buy a Group 1 Fiat Panda or Vauxhall Corsa. Run it (with it's MUCH cheaper insurance) until you're 21. At which point, you'll have 4 years no-claims, loads of cash in your pocket (Panda costs nothing to buy, and nothing to run, AND you save loads of your current two grand insurance premium), and you can buy a proper car !
