Skoda Superb mini review.

New shape one, '10' plate, diesel.

Other than having a diesel engine, a bloody nice car. Huge inside, quiet on the motorway (grumbles horribly like all diesels do in town), comfy seats, good ride, seemed to handle well enough, decent stereo, good brakes.

Oh, and even with me driving it *averaged* 62 mpg over 110 miles of mainly motorway, not hanging about much driving.

I may have to try and swipe one as company wheels for a while.

Double-tailgate-bootlid-thingy. Gimmick or useful?

One of our visitors had a 4x4 TDI saloon the other day. Manual box. Do they offer them with a floppy puddle DSG?

They definitley come with DSG- the new 7 speed IIRC. Not sure about paddles.

Yes. Got it by accident, but it's quite good fun.

The best kind of job.

The minicab driver who takes me to the station has one. They are huuuuge in the back. Now my eldest son has legs like a giraffe, I'm quite tempted by it.
