What are people's thoughts on only having an MoT till November? Would it detract potential buyers? Should I go and get one done this week?The MX5 on ebay

I wouldn't spend that much on a car with only 3 months or so left on it's MOT.
Bad form and all that, but your start price is too close to the reserve, which is around what a dealer would ask for that car.....
You meant to say: "3 month's or so."
for the cost of 12 months ticket, and the words in the ad "new MOT, no faults" would do wonders :)
looks kinda pricey but then these things hold there cash really well! had a
4 year old one at work (new shape headlight one, the nicer one IMO) and that sold for £9k!

it's an MX-5 which is mainly brought by girls who are more worried about what colour it is instead of worrying if it's a 1.6 or a 1.8 and more importantly if it's a BBR turbo. women eh :)
Get an MOT, and relist it starting at £1000 No Reserve. State in the auction that there's no reserve too. The more interest you can generate, then the higher the final sale price will usually be.
