what lives on your driveway?

I quite like the standard wheels on them. Plus, it's a Skoda, i wouldn't want to draw more attention to myself. When i said i'd have one, i meant i'd never buy one but if i had to buy a Skoda that would be it, unless they release a petrol turbo one.

On that note, I was behind (briefly *cough*) a new shape 550i in California.

5.0 V8?

Nothing, but it's fun to wind him up a bit ;)

Jealousy is probably too strong a word, but I wouldn't have turned one down for free ;)

The RX8 is looking more and more likely to happen.

if i was MADE to buy a skoda i'd have the vRS 1.8T octavia with that cool lil body kit they whack on them, then up the boost and get some proper power through them wheels :)

No i, I'm afraid.

My driveway has also lost the XR4i today. Farewell, silly car. I still want one, but I want one when I have a garage!

Is it a GX220? I wanted one of them. Unreliable things, though.

I think the new Megasquirt is Surface Mount (ie, not solderable unless you're a bit of a genius solderer, and not worth your time even if you are).

Why? A local garage seems to mess about with them a lot. Fester based and look terrible...

The price of spares on them is bloody ridiculous though. Something daft like a grand for a rear quarter IIRC.

you guys have got far too big a driverways for your own good ;-)

other than my trusty Ti, the g/f has got a '95 Chavalier CDi.. I keep trying to persuade her to get a Ti, cos it'd be well cool having 2 in the drive :-)

Fester based ? Err no - not ever.

Look terrible ? Well, that'll be a matter of opinion. Granted - it's not lovely, but I couldn't honestly give a monkeys.

Personally, I'm looking for something which is mini powered but lighter and handles better. So, that'll be the Midas then. It's for a little bit of light competition use, that's all. Some autotesting, sprinting and hillclimbing.

I think the sporty Octavias look better.

Nope, it's mid-19th century. I just can't keep it in the house as it's 10 feet long and weighs a ton.

Nope. Musso IL3200. It's been fairly reliable. The computer shat itself under warranty. Other than that just regular servicing stuff.

I reckon a twin exit stainless as well, one pipe at each side, rounded rectangle tips. And a bit of chipping and tweakery.
