where's dervman?

On the week I was ooff, 80 litres of petrol took me over 550 miles. Tank size is 67 litres I believe.

Didn't drain it before refill. Filled at above 3/4 tank, back to top.

Think of the fun you could have in that 2% of driving though :)

Incidentally during the France trip the 205 managed about 35-40mpg (cant be bothered to work it out properly). Not bad considering we were sat at

4500rpm for about 50% of the time. And there were also quite a few French country lanes that got attacked at full throttle.

I get the same as my old 1.8GDi S40, 500 miles gentle cruising, 350 miles giving it some hammer. Difference is 60l versus 75l tank...

Yeah, agreed, except that 2% would cost 50% as more, if not greater.

:) Actually, 41 mpg isn't _too_ bad, given the rate at which we tackled some of the Scottish / English / shoot all roads.
