Dan that is good stuff -

I recently dynoed mine and pulled 433/397, on the stock pulley & tune. (FM catback and Pauls HP airbox only) I am interested in the predator, to lean out my a/f. It drops under 10:1 at 4200. real bad. and I know I can pick up alot torque with a tune, but i dont want a chip

Anyway I am trying to learn more about it.

Peace

That's the typical stock AFR on these cars: lean down low, pig rich up top :). The Predator is nice. Any Chipmaster Revolution tuner can provide you with tunes for it. I got decent but not great gains with my chip. These cars like fuel but richening up the low end with the Eaton just makes it safer more than anything. Leaning out the top end will flatten the curve a bit and that's where I saw the most gain. With similar mods to yours, my chip got me the following:

Peak Power: +15.9 Max Power: +20.1 Average Power: +10.6

Peak Torque: +9.8 Max Torque: +21.7 Average Torque: +11.0

A Predator should work as well, assuming a good tuner :).

FYI... I'm not sure of the status of Fordchip.com anymore, since Jerry, along with Chris Johnson (JMS), have formed a new company backed by Superchips called Superchips Custom Tuning (SCT). You can purchase their products through distributors such as

(checkout the Pro Racer package!), and they're training shops around the country to dyno tune. The combined knowledge of these two guys is put into a software package that allows you to tune in your garage. Of course, a wideband AF meter is an asset, or you can spot check the AF on a dyno equipped with one.

Man! Jerry "The Man" is really moving up in this world!

I wish I had stock in him when he first started his Chip burning.

I bought a Gen I Chip from him "years" ago when he was solo.
