Saddam would have gladly given WMD to Bin Laden or whatever terrorist de jour. It was the right thing to do to take him out. He never abided by the cease fire agreement of the first Gulf war so just think of this one as a resumption of hostilities. If the UN, Germany, and Russia hadn't been in bed with Saddam with the oil for food scandal or their own lucrative contracts they would have come with us. France wouldn't have because they are so jealous of us being the sole superpower they will be against us just to be against us. Those countries are the morally decrepit ones in the Iraq situation, not us. You don't know leadership when you see it, you are blinded by hate.

That was over a decade ago, and at the time, daddy bu$h told his good friend and ally, Hussein that the U.S. had no opinion in Iraq's dispute with Kuwait - do what you want. so Hussein did what daddy bu$h did in Panama - he resorted to death and destruction. When bu$h junior started his illegal, immoral, and globally condemned terror attack, Iraq was no threat to the U.S. or its neighbors. That's one reason why Iraq's neighbors didn't support bu$h's invasion.
