I bought this for a 240Z I had several years back, but never installed it. If you can hear the rear end of your Z "clunk"when you step on the gas, then there is a good chance that this part is your solution. Bought this part brand new, but since it has sat around a while, it has a *very small* amount of rust on it - therefore selling it as unused, but not claiming that it is flawlessly new.
