2001 Altima

This is a fairly common problem which may or may not have anything to do with your recent service. In addition to chilling the air, your AC unit does indeed remove humidity from the air. It condenses into water, which has to go _somewhere_. There's a semi-watertight box which surrounds the condensing unit and collects the water. The box has a little tube which drains the water out onto the street below. If leaves, pine needles, dirt & debris collect in the water, it can clog that little tube. I've had to clean out the one in my Pathfinder many times.

Thanks Larry. Their story was that they blew it out. I guess what I'd like to know is if this blowing out is part of their service. We have had a lot of humid weather this season. I also want to look at below windshield wipers how leaves could get in. Thanks Dannie

Look at the outside-air intake grilles at the rear of the hood/bottom of the windshield. If they aren't open slots, they're a very coarse mesh that will let in dirt, dust, pine needles and such. On some of them, it's possible to remove them and glue pieces of nylon screen behind them to reduce the problem.
