Probably not as the Z is in a RWD configuration while the Max is a FWD. This is often brought up by those wishing to put a Silvia SR20DET into their Sentras. There are no recorded success for this swap as well.

A ZX engine will probably not fit. But a Silvia SR20DE engine WILL fit in a Sentra. Check the web for Nissan SE-R groups.
