This happened last winter too and my local mechanic replaced the slave cylinder. A few days later it happened again so I took it back and he bled the system again. It worked poorly until the weather warmed up, then it went back to normal. Now it is very cold ouside and the clutch pedal is dead on the floor again. A local tranny shop owner told me to replace the master cylinder. He can't do it cause he is booked up for 2 weeks. He said it is a common problem across all makes with manual trannys. Anyone else experience this? What was the cure?

I think you need to find a "real " mechanic .
Cold weather clutch problems are not common to all vehicles across the board, that is just the shop owners way of telling you to go get fuc*ed in a nice way
Try taking it to the dealership of a shop the specializes in Nissan's and see what they think.
Technicians are like lawyers, all it takes is one bad one to give us all a bad name

He should have replaced the master cyl at the same time, we -always- do them in pairs.
just park the car for a while and drive your other one.

>Niss Tech, How are the new Nissan Titans comparing to the Toyota Tundras? I'm looking at buying a new pickup truck that I can tow a travel trailer with, and think that the Tundra won't tow as large a trailer as the Titan is capable of towing. Any thoughts on comparisons between these two trucks? Thanks in advance,...........
