ive got an 87 nissan pathfinder that has a stud broke off flush with the head. I got the motor out but I cant get a bit to drill into it. any suggestions?

Use a new titanium coated bit (Lowe's has them in the DeWalt section) and it will cut through in a heartbeat. :-)
