I have just bought some Royal Purple gear oil (synth) for my manual trans and front and rear gears. Does anyone have any experience with this product, it's hard to find in Canada. Thnx. J

I personally use Torco oils in my vehicles, but most people who use high performance oils will recommend Redline, Motul, Torco, etc. Most of them exceed the manufacturers requirements for lubricants. Royal Purple is a good oil, and cool if you like the color. What's even cooler is when you blow a head gasket, and coolant leaks into the oil pan. The Day-glow green coolant and Royal Purple really contrasts each other.
Well, I guess that's something to look forward too.Thnx. Jeff
I've never experienced it (knock on wood), but I 've help take apart a rotary engine with a seal that had gone bad. It's just a really cool color.
