They are replacing Exhast from Cat. back. Ball joint Wheel bearing
Shocks are not leaking but I'll replace them, What should I get for shocks?? 15,000 miles per year, 90% of it highway. (crummy highway though, with all the frost heave repair patches its like rideing on a railroad track. Rte. 495 in Massachusetts.)
I'll replace the rotors this summer.
I'll clean up some rust on the frame before it gets worse. What would be the best procedure here? Wire brush the rist and spray with rustolium paint?
They were trying to tell me that a timing "chain" does not have to be replaced. Only a "belt does" . Does this car have a chain or a belt and is it a non interference design? As in, if the belt/chain breaks the engine is toast! I believe chains DO have to be replaced????
Hope you guys are as helpful as the camry NG is.
Thanks Steve
