I think these are MIME-encoded binary files, probably JPEGS. OE may be trying to OPEN these files-do you really want a program that is that incautious running on your PC? I will give you the same (unsolicited) advice I received several years ago: dump OE

I used to *hate* it when OE would lock up. Especially when it locked up trying to execute stuff posted randomly on the 'net.
