I answered my own question about how to restore the grille on a 2000 Xterra... Dupli-Color makes a charcoal gray "bumper paint". It is designed for use on plastic and comes with a clear primer. I wetsanded the piece and cleaned it thoroughly. I completed the spraying today, tomorrow it goes back on. Looks 1000% better than it has in years. The paint was available at Advance.
