1995 Maxima

My 95 Maxima has a problem in the wheel/brake area. It tends to squeek when I turn left or right on the corresponding side of the car. It is not my brake caliper indicating the need to change pads. It is like it is hitting something on every rotation. I have looked at my tire, the brakes and that general are a couple of times and can't seem to find anything. One of my friends has a 99 Altima which seems to do a similar thing. If anyone has encountered this and has some information on how to fix it, that would be great.

Backing plates sometimes scrub on the disc's

My 95 does the same thing, in fact, it jingles and swishes as I drive down the road. You could take the tires off and bend the backing plates, but it's probably not worth the trouble.

My brake shields only make a horrible screeching noise if I get a stone behind one. And then backing up spits it out.

I did have a bad right front wheel bearing once. To tell if that is a problem, jack up each front end, grab top and bottom of tire, and see if there is any noticeable play.
