Hi- I have a 2000 Maxima SE w/ 60k miles and it's time for new brakes and rotors. The question is....do I go with OEM parts (pads and rotors) or is it better to go with after market parts. I've heard OEM parts are more expensive so is it worth it to go OEM? I have a friend that is going to help me replace them so dealing with the dealership is not a worry.
If after market parts are better, which pads and rotors are best in quality and/or value?
Are there any concerns for squeaks or grinding noises with after market parts?
Basically, I want to get good parts but want to know which ones are good and reasonably priced.
