Maxima cabinb microfilter

Does anyone know the procedure for accessing and cleaning the in cabin microfilter in a Maxima 2002? It should be behind the glove compartment.

instructions are on the box when you get the new filter.

the old filters are to be thrown out , not cleaned and reused
