Hello, My speedometer, odometer, and tripometer are acting very counter intuitive. i'm hoping to get the speedometer fixed without having to have nissan bill me for both a speed sensor and a "speedo head". The odometer and the tripometer don't move as much as they should (it said i went 50 miles on a 13 hour drive). the cruise control doesn't work (if that has anything to do with the problem with the speedometer). the speedometer bobs up and down and every now and then will flip over past 125 miles per hour and stay there for a while. I disconnected the speed sensor and the speedometer went dead (hopeing to eliminate somthing). I took out the speed sensor it seemed fine but it's not like i've ever done any of this before being 20 and this being my second car. i tried to take off the dash to see what the speedo head looked like but it seemed imposible. i ran the computer in between the passenger and driver side seats and it said that all sensors were working just fine. is there a way to test weather it's the speedo head or the speed sensor....or if it's somthing else?
