I found a good deal on some performance camshafts for a 1995 maxima, any thoughts ?

adds some HP? should other engine mods? how would it effect my car all together bad idea at 120k miles?

thank you for any insight! I always enjoy your thoughts

Observations I've read is that it makes your idle less stable and a bit lumpy, but top end increases are awesome. Anything you can to add to flow, CAI and exhaust especially would only increase this car's top end even more.

At 120K miles, changing cams should be no biggie in terms of affecting the durability of the car. But, cam change is a bit of a heavy duty job, and since a cam change would involve removing the timing chain, may as well replace your timing chain tensioner and other parts in the timing cover etc, like maybe even water pump.

Hope this helps
