And they're a ball ache to remove. You may be lucky and get an 1/8th of a turn with the open ended spanner, but only after you've stripped all the metalwork off that end of the pump. Check before you start the job. Lift the rubber seal on the top of the solenoid and use a bit of wire to give it 12V. It should click nicely.
