engine re-mobilisation

Hi After replaceing the battery the engine is now inmobilised. As I dont have the key switch i have to use the normal key in the door lock and input my code that way.Has anybody had to use this before and How is it done?

Turn key clockwise to the Lock position and hold for at least 5 secs. Then release to normal position.

Enter 4 digit code as follows.

If the 1st digit is 4 turn the key to the Unlock posn 4 times.

Ensure key returns fully to normal each time.

2nd digit is entered by turning the key clockwise to Lock

3rd digit anti-clockwise to Unlock

4th digit to Lock again.

Finally turn key to the Unlock posn, this will re-mobilise the engine.

If the code has been entered correctly the anti-theft light will stop flashing and the engine can be started.
