Australian Rover 75 V6 Club Auto
Got a flapping noise from the centre console when the Aircon set temp is close to external temp indicated on dashboard.
I Live in Sydney, so the Aircon is running most times to keep internal temp down to 23 degC.
Had mix motor replaced under warranty back in 2003 due to stripped gear teeth
Is this a known weak spot?
Any alternatives?
Ha a similar one to that, it was the cable adrift that operates the centre vent flap for internal or external air for the centre vents . It can rattle or go with a thud when motor switched on, it can be accessed from the driver side after removing the panel under the steering wheel, operate the vent wheel and look up all should then be obvious :-)
