One of my wheels groans when the steering is turned. It only happens once the car has been driven for about an hour or so. Any ideas?

Any particular year or model?
Try getting out once the car is hot, have an assistant turn the wheel and see if you can pin it down to a specific side, maybe the rack vs. the strut tower, etc. BE CAREFUL if you have someone turn the wheel while you have your hands in the area where things are moving.
