Hot on the heels of the Aero X, rumours are that GM are to release a sports cars. I know these rumours have been around for some time, essentially for a car based on the Saturn, but now with the Aero X, perhaps SAAB have an ace up their sleeve?

The car is also featured in Auto Express. Much nicer than the (new) 9-3 cabrio. It will have a 170 2.0 turbo or a 250bhp 2.8 twin turbo. Funnily enough, these engines are referred to as from "GM's turbo charged petrol engine range", when all the time we were told that the 9-3 engines had been re-engineered by Saab. So can anyone answer whether these engines have timing belt or chain?

Hopefully, that's not the car they release. That front end is bulky and ugly.
