It's on my 97 900se. So what does it mean? It has new plugs, alternator, oil... filter maybe? ~GJ~

If it's anything like my 9-3, then it just means that a set time and/or distance has passed since the message last came up (and got reset during a service) so it thinks that a service is in order.
If you're servicing it yourself and your service intervals don't line up with what the computer thinks is going on, then you'll need to reset it yourself. Not sure how to do that on a 900. On the 9-3 you have to hold in the "clr" button for a few seconds.
Cheers,
Colin.
Same thing on '97. Just do what you are supposed to do and don't worry about it, it's not watching your car for anything... just running a timer.
on a '97, hold it down for at least 20 seconds, maybe 30 seconds. AFAIR, there are some long beeps, then it resets.
Many thanks, that was it. ~GJ~
